[Cube] RE: Cube Giga CPU replacement question

Hello.

I just bought a Cube and even though it's six years
old I still see it as viable.  I'm still using a Duo
2300c I bought in 1996 (10 years old.)  Our Mac IIfx,
bought in 1991 (15.5 years old), just gave up the
ghost.  Both of these machines have been tremendously
useful.  I will upgrade my Cube with a faster
processor and video card and it probably will be a 1.8
Giga upgrade.  Unless you ABSOLUTELY require a
specific "latest and greatest" upgrade in software
you'll still be able to use it for what you do with it
NOW.  I'd go for the 1.8 and get the 3 year insurance
policy for $166.
