Hi,
Mine's 6 years old too, with 2 year old upgrade to 1.2 Ghz and video
card, it's fine. I read all the time that the heavy duty image
processing software still runs slow on the Intel macs until sometime
next year. Go for the 1.8, at $166 it's a good deal,
