I've installed a 250 Gb disk in my cube by modifying the Open Firmware information so it uses the LBA driver built into Leopard: http://nanchatte.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/128gb-large-hdd-lba48-support-on-the-g4-cube-with-leopard/ This hack will stay permanently unless you reset your PRAM.
