>I chose Qwest because they offered a "passthrough", >allowing you to sign-up for DSL without an ISP. The only >thing the ISP's provide is an email account and 10megs >of webspace (for another 20$+ a month). I thought this >was great and it bought the price down to 26$ a month >and guareenteed 640 up/down. While a longtime recipient of Qwest (nee Pacific Northwest Bell and Southwest Bell) customer disservice, I have to admit that Qwest DSL simply rocks. I also have the "passthrough" 640 DSL service with a local ISP. The DSL end of Qwest is actually quite functional. My 2400 and I really like it.
