That's good information. I tried to find a schematic
diagram, but have been unsuccessful. The "service
manual" only shows how to take the 2400c apart. The
Apple developer site didn't have a schematic either. I
have no way of knowing which IC is the regulator, so
can't recommend which one to add a heatsink to. I
don't think the 2400 has a fan like some other
notebook computers, and there is probably no room to
add one. It would reduce battery life also! I guess
thats the price to pay for such a small footprint.
