At 02:46 PM 1/13/2004, R. McFarlane, had this to say : >The main issue still remains. The >MT G3 ran fine, so I then docked my 2300c and booted up again. >Unfortunately, the G3 insisted on booting from the 2300c HD (no big deal >just not what I wanted), so I hooked up my new Palm serial dongle that I >also received in the mail today and changed the HotSync settings since it >was able to see the G3 modem port. Sync worked fine there. Going out now >so I will have to try a 2300c sync later. Well I tried running the 2300c on it's own with the Palm dongle attached finally (up until now I was using a modem cable with adapters) and it worked this time. I am not sure if it is because the dongle was attached or the fact that when running on the MT G3 I was able to set it to a actual modem port. :S Any ways, it works for now and if worse comes to worse I'll just have to dock the 2300c to the MT G3 periodically to sync. :) Thanks to the list for the "second opinions". :D Sincerely, R.
