[DuoList] 2400c not starting up - any troubleshooting suggestions?

Nope, no value, give it away.  To me. :-)

But seriously, try holding down command-option-p-r immediately after  
you turn the machine on.  Keep holding them until after you hear the  
speaker chime for the second time.
