Rob if you need a PMU I can swap yours out. One thing I also did was check the fuses by doing a continuinity test on them, on both sides of those little grey squarish chips. Wait a second---I thought the Power Manager button (above the floppy connector) is pressed and held for ove a minute with all the batteries out. Try that and get back to us. If that doesnt work, leave it unplugged/unpowered overnight B On 4/25/07, Rob Johnstone <rob.johnstone at internode.on.net> wrote: > > Hi All, > I've had the PowerBook 2400c in pieces and have reassembled. > > I've followed the following process numerous times: > > Disconnect AC > Pull Lion battery > Reconnect AC > Reset Power Manager button by depressing it for at least 40 seconds. > > I still have the GLOD! > > Can I confirm that the reset power manager button is the button above the > floppy drive connector? > > Should I start looking for a new PowerBook and use this one for parts? > > Thanks for the help guys. > > Rob - drowning my sorrows in martinis > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > DuoList mailing list > DuoList at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/duolist > > Listmom is trying to clean out his closets!
