You can buy a USB hub that has its own AC adapter in order to have enough current to power peripherals. My advice to you is to enable 32-bit data on your 2400c's PC Card cages. The only issue may be with powering peripherals. If they take too much power, they won't work. This has always been a problem with earlier PowerBooks and USB/FireWire cards. If you don't know how to enable 32-bit, take a look back in the list archives and on Google. ----- Original Message ---- From: Joe Elliott <jelliott4 at gmail.com> To: duolist at listserver.themacintoshguy.com Sent: Sat, March 20, 2010 6:12:21 PM Subject: [DuoList] USB for 2400 Are there any readily-available PCMCIA cards that would provide USB connectivity and be compatible with my PB2400c running OS 8.6?
