FW tv capture for iBook

I'm going to sell my 32" tv to raise money to buy a 20" LCD monitor, 
ViewSonic, VX2000, or 21" ViewSonic, VP211b.  The ViewSonic monitors 
don't appear to have any RCA inputs for video so I can't send my VCR 
through it directly.

I have a Nov. 2001, iBook 600 mhz, 640 mb RAM.  Would anyone care to 
recommend a firewire device that I can use to watch tv through my 
iBook?  Please also discribe the quality of the image displayed through 
these tv (capture?) devices.
