[G4] G4 fan noise cure

heheheh...this was a  great thread! Anyway...in all the laughing, I
don't think anyone actually answered Paula's question!

When Apple introduced the G3, they moved away from naming their computer
line-up with the usual model numbers. Although each G3 and G4 since then
has a model number, it's mostly just for Apple's inventory use.

Each one also has an official nickname; i.e. Quicksilver, Gigabit
Ethernet, B&W, etc., and the Mirrored Drive Doors, where the drive door
for the CD player (and below if anything is installed), is a mirror. 
Don't really know if it's plastic, metal or glass though...anyone?
