[G4] Best PDA recommendation

I have a Palm IIIxe that I have a USB cradle cradle for on my Sawtooth, 
I have a serial cradle at work on my PIII 1.1ghz, and the Palm works on 
my 7300 (with USB installed) and my wife has a Palm IIIe that matches 
her Rev. B iMac.  So we're a Palm family.  I don't know about OSX 
support, so look into that if you run X.  I have found Palm to be the 
best (compared to a Phillips Nino running WinCE).  The software runs 
great on both platforms, so a Palm-based system seems ideal for your 
needs.  I would recommend the Palm IIIxe if you're on a budget (used), 
the newer black and white Palms (m100) if you have a little more money, 
or a color model if you have some serious cash to spend.  Get the USB 
package and an extra serial cable, and you'll be all set!
