Thanks again to all who have responded. I still have the problem of being able to receive but not send mail using the Apple Mail app. I am dialing directly to the isp using the number they supplied. Their techs have confirmed that the accounts are good and do work. They do work on my PC. Just not on the Mac OS X 10.2.3. I've verified the SMTP setting at least 3 times and the authentication as well. None is required. Password was verified as well. Thanks for the recommendation on Entourage. If I don't clear this today, I'll head in that direction. Happy New Year to all.
