I worry too. This is my main video capture drive. So far , no problems or comlaints. The drive captures 20min.-1hr with no problems ( a major test) and spits it back out without dropping a frame. The only funy thing I notice is that it seems to put itself to sleep if you don't access it for a while and then it beeps and hesitates as it gets back up to speed. (on the first access) Is this normal? It's quiet anyway. Jim
