USB 2.0 PCI cards

Anyone have any luck with generic USB 2.0 PCI cards?
Are USB 2 drivers installed as part of the standard Panther install?

I picked up a $10 USB 2.0 made-in-Taiwan card that is USB 2.2 compliant
(only lists Windows compatibility, the CD only has Win drivers).

Are there generic drivers available anywhere on the web?

In Jaguar 10.2.8, the card shows up as Unknown in Apple System Profiler;
also, there is an arrow for each port on the card (i.e., clicking on the
arrows gives you a box providing info on the connected device).

No connected USB 1.1 devices show up.

Any help much appreciated.
