Hi again Traced the problem to a TEAC external USB floppy drive connected via a hub. The hub is new and until recently the floppy was never left connected to the machine, not enough USB ports, and it needed a rear of machine one for power. Hub is powered and viola with the floppy connected permanently wont let it sleep properly. Hi I have a MDD 2003 1.25 G4 with 10.2.8 When I woke it from sleep the other day, it came up with a message in about 5 languages stating I had to restart my computer. It repeatedly does this now whenever I try to wake it from sleep. What was odd was it gave me the hardware address of the machine, and the xxx.xxx.x.xxx location of the isp we use at the base of the message. G4 was not online at the time, and uses dialup. I then removed the ethernet connection to the printer(via an AsanteTalk), then all i got was the aaa.aaa.a.aaa. Anyone explain this? I currently dont put it to sleep. I have changed locations in network prefs to an identical location save a dialup phone number, and still same prob. What is the error too?
