Your understanding is incorrect. And it is highly unlikely Apple will 
drop Classic support in the near future.

GraphicConverter is what the name says. It converts from one graphic 
format to another; it can also serve as an image editor. It does not 
"get data out" of documents.

Nothing to do with GraphicConverter.

Neither has this one. There are various solutions to this issue -- such 
as the one I recommended previously.

Indeed, it is. If Palm doesn't offer you what you need, try 
alternatives, such as Personal Organizer v4.50 already suggested by 
Steve.
