The following I posted on X-newbies but have had no replys, so was hoping someone on this list could help, please: I know this will seem dumb to many but..... Installing the CD that accompanies "Sams Teach Yourself To Create Web Pages in 24 Hours" (and includes Netscape Composer and other relevant software) I get the message "The installed substitution fonts are designed for use with standard QuickDraw. Please remove them and install the QuickDraw GX versions." (1) How do I remove them? (2) How do I find the QuickDraw GX versions? (3) How do I Install them? (4) Will this affect any existing applications? (5) If so, can I reconcile both needs? (6) What happens if I do nothing? The problem is in the classic environment. The only applications I have there that might be relevant are: Netscape, QuarkXPress 4, MacFractint, Graphing Calculator, Painter 5, Poser 2, Abyss Web Server, SoundEdit 16 version 2, WCC Silver, Photoshop 6, Toast Titanium 5.1.4, SimpleText, Illustrator 8, Image Ready 3, Streamline 4, Appleworks 6, ATM Deluxe. The computer is eMac 1GHz G4, 1GB SDRAM, Mac OS 10.3.7. I have a partitioned drive running 10 and 9.2 Applications are the same in classic and "over the other side" in full boot 9.2 The only program I don't have an updated version of in 10 is Quark which is my main reason for keeping 9. Oh and discovering when learning to expand website design beyond templates that the accompanying CD is only for OS 9. Thank you in advance for any help, Tony.
