Hi everyone, D-link and Linksys were the two brands I was looking at so I think I'll check out those two. Got the laptop and it's rockin'. Still amazes me that I can just plug in my ethernet cable and I'm able to surf the web without touching any settings or fiddling with anything. On a PC it would have taken an hour or so to download all the spyware and antivirus crap and set all the IP settings and even then I'd be surfing with fingers and toes crossed. I love my macs!!! Also another wonderful tidbit I discovered. I use Eudora on my desktop PC and decided to just use the Apple mail app on the iBook as to not clutter it up with unecessary software. After I download my mail on the ibook I redirected the mail back to myself so I'd get it on the desktop when I logged on (yea, I know I can set it to leave it on the server, but I don't like to do that). But, when I logged onto Eudora on the desktop, I got the redirected mail along with another original copy of all the mail that had come into the laptop. Sweet! So I wouldn't have needed to redirect after all. I noticed this also happens on my desktop too if I have Eudora and Mail App open at the same time (not as a rule, only if I accidentally click an email link in a web page and it opens Mail app.) I'm not quite sure why it's working that way (probably a setting in Apple Mail somewhere), but I LIKE IT!
