I am sorry to have to report that the third try was no joy. The brand new SIIG Serial ATA PCI-M Card card showed up today. http://www.siig.com/product.asp?catid=7&pid=556 As noted on the web page this card is for a Mac. The installation was no bid deal and it was interfaced to a brand new Seagate 80 GB SATA drive in a G4 AGP with a 1Gig processor card. The new SATA drive did not show up on the desktop and could not be found by the OSX 10.4 Disk Utility. I double checked the connections and even put the card in a different PCI slot. I sent a help request to SIIG but they have not responded. Any suggestions on how to wake up a SATA drive will be appreciate. This simple mod has turned into the project from hell. Help!!! Dick Kriss
