You will first need to upgrade the firmware on the Pioneer drive itself. Use this link for help on doing that. http://homepage.mac.com/mps/OSXDVR109Flasher155FW.zip. NOTE: The Retail Boxed and XL models use different firmware than the OEM (BK) models - firmware in the downloads is for the OEM DVR-109. Then you need to run patchburn, make sure you have the latest versin of patchburn. Get that from here. http://www.patchburn.de/ >Darryl, >How did you upgrade your firmware? >TIA >Rich > Date: Wed, 29 Jun 2005 11:59:28 -0700 > From: DARRYL SPESSARD <premiercollt at earthlink.net> > Subject: [G4] PIONEER DVR-109 "NOT SUPPORTED" > To: "A place to discuss Apple's G4 computers." > <g4 at listserver.themacintoshguy.com> > Message-ID: <42C2EF90.7060603 at earthlink.net> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed > > Yesterday I installed a Pioneer DVR-109.
