[G4] VGA Monitor on a Mac G3-Thanks

As one who has been there (Beige G3 with a 15 in standard VGA  
monitor), I would consider trying to locate the pin settings for the  
VGA adapter type you are using. Check the websote of the manufacturer  
for the correct settings.
Try the 640x480 pin settings to begin with and try changing until you  
see a good boot up up screen.
