[G4] Airport not working

I have a Motoral Wireless card installed and has been working fine 
until  I got a software upgrade from Apple take upgraded itunes and 
Airport Software.  Since then when I turn on my airport on I get no 
signal from Router.  I have a back up of the system from July on an 
external hard drive and it works fine when I boot up from that  drive.

Any suggestion appricated
