[G4] Aperture on a G-4

Has anybody used this on a G-4 system?(Aperture)
Apple highly recommends a dual G-5. I have a dual 1.4 and I am  
curious before I plunk down the dough.
Also, have a new Mac Pro Tower at the office.  
FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTT! IS ALL I CAN SAY!
