I have found Epson Australia very helpful however so I suggest ringing the Epson company in your country. For the 1200 Epson recently changed the cartridge details, so that the older code numbers no longer exist and there are new codes which does not help when trying to find the ink if you are unaware of the changes. However I found Epson quite willing to help keep the old machine plugging along, they even sold me a new print head so that it will have a few more years of life. It helped that I also found a technician with a love of the older machines, and he gave it some needed TLC. It is my experience that Epson has a corporate philosophy that they make machine of such quality that they expect people like you and me to still be using the equipment long past the normal use by date.
