What am I missing here? The eject button on your case is really just a plastic extension arm that's supposed to contact the real eject button on the drive. I think the eject button on your new drive must be in a slightly different position than the original, so the arm isn't hitting the right spot. If I remember correctly, you can use the F12 key on your keyboard as an eject button. -- Rich
