Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts! I'd love to hear more or from 
more people as I am thinking of buying a MacPro (2 GB RAM, 2,66 gig, 
one burner). It would replace my sorry old G4 (AGP 500 MHz, 896 MB 
Ram, but new DVD burner and 200 GB space). The MacPro is not cheap at 
all in Sweden but I think I can get a _small_ student discount. 
Anyway I sorely need a new computer. But I'd like to hear what is bad 
with the MacPro, what are it's faults and what should I especially 
think of before buying (do I really need 2 GB or is 1 GB enough?).

Is there maybe a mailing list for MacPro now? :-)

(I use the computer mostly for Photoshop and other 2D applications, 
web design, web surfing... Not much games at all (except for Snood of 
course...:-). I'd like to try some 3D-apps but haven't been able to 
do that with this slow machine, nor use Garageband, which sounds 
fun...)
