John,

I have a three DP 450's at home. It would be nice to
still run the latest OS if there is no downside. What
makes you say that your machine is faster with
Leopard?
Gut feel or did you run some bench marks? I must say
that I got the impression that 10.4 was faster than
10.3, but many people said 10.3 was the one to stick
at for G4's.
