[G4] MDD L2, L3 cache switch off at startup. Does it matter?

Ah, now there's a possibility.  I did install the
Developer tools when I upgraded to Tiger.

As far as I can tell, the Dual 867 daughter card
hasn't been touched since the machine left the factory
floor.  And the firmware appears to be current.
