Hi Joe,
Sounds like you have a Quicksilver 2002 G4.

Anyway, can you verify with another firewire device that your firewire
ports have not been blown?

Just had that happen on an iMac G5.

Try this, shut down the computer completely, unplug all peripherals, and
unplug the power cord. Wait for a minimum of 30 minutes. Restart and
hook up a know good firewire device and see if it shows up.
