[G4] SCSI to Firewire adapters on scanners

I have operated my Arcus II scanner with an ATTO Express PCIPro UL3D  
card In a PowerMac G5 Dual 2GHz  Tower with absolutely no problems for  
more than four years. The card is a second hand (ebay) Apple OEM card  
extracted from a previous Mac model and was reasonably priced. I would  
suspect that as long as a PCI expansion slot is available in a tower  
the Arcus II will keep working for another seven years.
