What I have learned so far is that the file will need to be manually created. That isn't much of a problem. I did find a how to, sorta, for what I want to try out. For now I have both the ATA and SATA drives running to see if I have system crashes or a lockup after the box is called out of sleep. If all works well then I'll proceed with moving directories to partitions on the SATA drive. Sounds like fun to me Kristen
