I downloaded a beta version of VPC7 from one of the usual sources. It was XP-only, but works fine on my G5 1.8/SP. "Fine" meaning the same performance as VPC6 on an equivalent G4. The beta was dated from about December 2003, which suggests that Microsoft should be pretty far along by now. I'm looking forward to the retail release.
