Wow, a 10 sec delay! Geez! I assume it's one of the first autofocus SLR's (like my Minolta Maxim 7000) that has a terrible time using the infrared autofocus with flash. Is it faster in the daylight without the flash? I don't think there is any formally recognized term for this yet.
