I am not sure if this will help but it is worth a try. First, try holding down the X key at startup. Also, try booting up from the 9.2.X CD by holding down the C key at startup. Then go into the StartUp Disk Control Panel in the Apple and see if you can choose X. Make sure the CD is not an Upgrade CD because that will not boot.
