Importing Addresses from Communicator to Outlook Express

Hi, I have a iMac 800 Mhz, OS 9.2.2 and wish to quit Outlook Express and
move to OSX mail. I have difficulty to import all addresses as well as
stored messages.
Any advise on hoe to do it? Any suggestion of using Eudora instead of OSX
mail?
