Sound Question for G5 with os x

hi all,

i want to learn more about G5 sound system.. especially technical details.
how i can find.. ?

i am looking for some questions..

1- Before G5 we must use plaintalk microphone for all mac.. if "dvd surraund
sound system"  use in G5 is that means we can use all microphones with osX
??

2- with G5 is there any way to sperate system sound / music way that we cant
make before G5 ?  

3- For ex.. we cant use creative 7.1 sound system or Creative Megaworks
system. this is imposible with G4 etc.. is this means now we have with G5 ?
