iMovie not finding iTunes?

Where does I thunes have to be located for imovie to find it? When i go
to the audio tab to import some sounds from iTunes library, i get dimmed
"iTunes 3.0 not found" Please dont tell me it is because my iTunes is
3.0.1! (iMovie is 3.0.1) They are both in the applications folder....
