A crossover cable would be the same as Ethernet but you just don't have
the hub, it would be a network of two. Most of PCs don't have firewire
they seem to be leaning towards USB 2 so you would have to buy a
firewire card as well.  I suggested crossover cable because it requires
the least investment.

Okay. What do think about ethernet vs. firewire? Isn't ethernet
the way to go for file transfer between a mac and pc?  -doug
