It is another shot at Apple. Just like buying VPC. 

Of course, Apple has taken a few shots too.  Keynote, Safari and the promise 
of more software and don't forget that Apple has spoken out against Microsoft 
in attempt to infiltrate educational markets with a bogus legal settlements.
