Ummm - let's reserve judgment on it being a positive thing until Apple 
proves they're providing a product worth paying for.  Some of the 
iApps, especially the recent ones, barely make it to "worth the cost" - 
and they're free.  If Apple's going to start charging for some or all 
of them for upgrades (not sure how people keep missing the part about 
these still being included with new machines) they better make them 
worth the money - and not just "good enough".
