Unfortunately, I have standardized on using Sony Mini-DV tapes. A lot 
of the opinions that I have heard think that it is best to stick with a 
single brand of tape in order to minimize the wear from different 
patterns of different brands of stock in order to maximize picture 
quality and longevity.
