Pioneer SuperDrive DVR-104 woes:(

Hey,

Well I e-mailed my friend and he sent me the SuperDrive firmware update. It 
will not run on my machine. I am assuming it does with a G4 upgrade. What 
guarantee would it have to work? I could install a G4ZIFF upgrade and then 
run the installer (hoping it'll work). I know there are oeners of Blue and 
White G3's that have gotten their SuperDrive to work. My only other option 
would to buy a brand new system with a SuperDrive. I would like ot get my 
current drive working and preserve my $2499.00 investment.
