It depends on how blurry your photos are. I use Photoshop everyday and currently use the latest version CS (8) for Mac. The Mac version is fully loaded and has everything the PC version does. The sharpen filter is the obvious choice for what you're trying to do but it only goes so far. If the picture is too far out of focus/blurry there's nothing that can be done. Original information that is not there cannot be recreated. But I would suggest a filter called genuine fractals which as far as I know is the best at restoring blurry images but even it has a limit. I can't tell a huge difference between the sharpening filter in Photoshop 6 vs CS so I'm not sure spending any extra money would be worth it. Also Photoshop CS would not run too well on G3 400 with 192 MB of RAM. I'd recommend any G4 with 512MB RAM minimum. If you've got Photoshop 6.5 for PC I'd say you're near the limit of the technology.
