While I have not used their mixer, I have used two other Data Video Tek products and both are excellent. Their dv converter box is just as good as the more well known Canopus and $100 cheaper. They have really responsive tech support in the LA area. I don't know what "IMag" means, but I have done two camera shoots and used a laptop with an external firewire drive to do the capture straight from the camera output. It works great. I also record on tape in the camera just in case there's a problem, but so far (about 50 hours worth) it has all gone smoothly. hth, sb On 2/1/05 2:33 PM, "darrell" <takecare at telus.net> wrote: > I'm getting ready to purchase a video mixer and I wanted to know if > anyone is using the > "Datavideo SE 800".
