-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I currently have the PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-104 installed in the upper bay, and the original CD-RW in the lower bay. The CD-RW has not worked for some time :-( Now I have this real big project (5th Grade Yearbook) that I'd like to make a DVD for the Class of 2005. The problem is I cannot find DVD-R's that will work at 2x on this drive. Even if I could I suspect they would command a premium price. I have plenty of DVD-R's that are rated for 2x burning, so I plan to use them for this project. The question is, then, since I'm looking at a minimum of 65 hours of burning DVD's, should I bite the bullet and get the $75 4x Superdrive (106) and replace the old drive with it? Or spend a bit more and get an even faster DVD-RW drive? Getting a new Superdrive is a no-brainer, actually :-) Could I then move the old 104 into the lower bay and continue to get some functionality from it, and just what would I be able to do with it then? It looks like a plan to me... Worst case is it doesn't work and I swap out the CD-RW from the external FW case now on the G3 iMac DV SE and put the DVD-RW 104 in the case. Any thoughts?
