-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I would suggest trying to devise a way to skip a step and capture the VHS footage to MiniDV tapes as you captured the footage in iMovie. You would need a timer to alert you when you need to pause the playback and get a new Mini DV tape in the recording device. And a rewinder for the MiniDV tapes would be real helpful as well. I'm just not sure where in the chain you could insert the DV recorder - some DV cams have playthrough conversion capabilities, but the ADC is likely to do a better job converting the analog to DV. If you can cut the time spent on the project in half, that might be worth the investment in MiniDV tapes and a DV camera. Putting together yopur own FW drives is a good idea, too. You can never have too much storage. I think a company called Weibe Tech makes a connector that allows you to plug drives into the FW w/o using an enclosure. Just my $0.02 - Regards, Joey Kennedy.
