Either that, or have all EQs max out at flat, so that we can only 
cut.  Want the ubiquitous "smile" curve (too much bass & treble)? 
Cut the mids and turn up the volume.  Maybe any device that is able 
to boost EQ would require a $20/month mandatory contribution to 
H.E.A.R.
