ViaVoice gone?

I've been looking into VR products for the Mac, and I have found that
none of the usual online/catalog retailers seem to carry ViaVoice
anymore. There is still a ViaVoice/Mac page on IBM's site at:
http://www-3.ibm.com/software/speech/mac/enhanced/index.shtml
but when I click on the link to purchase the product, I get an "appology"
page that says that that product number no longer exists.

Is ViaVoice for the Mac gone?

It still seems to exist on the ScanSoft site:
http://www.scansoft.com/viavoice/osx/

Have they purchased the product?

And where can one get the Medical vocabulary for ViaVoice/Mac?

Most of the people I know use Macs, and it feels like we¹re a privileged
minority, though the odd thing is that, unlike Mercedes or BMW's, they
are not significantly more expensive than the competition. Why does
anybody use anything else?
