According to Robert Ameeti: > >Is Safari v 62 out to the world yet or are you guys able to do >this b/c you are part of the In Crowd? > >These are part of the come around to the back door crowd. Anyone who >complains that Software Update is not properly recognizing their >bootlegged version is not a developer. >-- I must have missed that, was someone griping that Software Update didn't recognize a developer's version of safari? That's a n odd thing, Software update doesn't 'recognize' anything, it just reads the list of what you have installed recently via SU, and also scans the first Applications folder apparently. How would any user know what SU 'recognized'? Weird question. Nevertheless, there are plenty of legitimate copies of Safari 1.0b.62 out here. So what? How do you figure Apple gets the bugs out? Wild guesses? Has nothing to do with 'back doors', and if someone has an unreleasd copy, who cares? Not worth a worry at all. ~flipper
